From the start, take either:
ALTERNATIVE 1.
Turn down the Hoovers Lane bridleway. Go throught the ford and along the bridle- way to end. Turn left into Frampton End Road. Follow the road to Iron Acton, turn right through village to a junction with a lane off straight ahead,
ALTERNATIVE 2
Turn and ride along wide grass verge along the 34058 to Iron Acton, crossing three roads. Turn right down the gated Holly Hill road and turn left at the next junction into Nibbley Lane.

Follow Waypoint 1
Nibley Lane and take the first left into Hope Road, and then tho next left into Bridge Road. Cross railway and then the B4049 (TAKE CARE! VERY BUSY ROAD WITH HEAVY FREIGHT LORRIES). Turn right along verge on purpose bt.ilt bridleway next to cycle track and straight on into end of cui de sac. At the end CROSS NORTH ROAD WITH CARE into road which has a Council Depot at the end. Take first left and follow to bridleway track on left. At end of bridleway tum left and at crossroads cross into byway.

At Waypoint 2
the end turn right, and then take the second left at crossroads. Follow farm lane through buildings and take field bridleway to the left before cattle grid. Follow left hand hedge to bridle gate and cross ford. Fdiow track to gate, cross next field to gate then following right hand hedge pass to right of ruined farm house, through gate, along track and through gate on the left. Follow farm track to road, turn left along Rag Lane and into Cowslip Lane. Turn left and ride to the B4058. THIS IS A BUSY ROAD WITH HEAVY FREIGHT LORRIES.

Turn Waypoint 3
right and follow the B4058. After some cis- tance take left turn at crossroads into Chuch Lane towards Cromhall Church. Just before St.Andrews School tum right and shortly left towards Abbotside. After a sharp right and then left hand bend, turn right into Cromhall Lane and over the motorway. Then take the first left and proceed back the motorway. Follow road to Tytherington, turning left and right through village into Itchington Lane.

Turn immediately right into Itchington Lane. past telephone box and under railway bridge. Take bridleway on left. through farmyard. and fouow to end, passing quarry on right, and turning left at road then right uphill, passing turning.
ALTERNATIVE. AVOIDING QUARRY.
Fork lett off concrete bridleway through gate and along track to road. Turn right at road and folbw to village, joining original route.

(TAKE Waypoint 5
CARE! FAST TRAFFIC, SOME HEAVY VEHICLES). Turn right and immediately left - note the good verge to cross to. Ride along the B4427 (TAKE CARE - BUSY AT COMMUTER TIMES), and soon take first into Oldfields Lane. At end Of lane take bridleway on left. through gate into wood. Follow track to gate into field. Follow hand to sleeper bridge over stream on right. Cross bridge and turn left, following left hand hedge to last field, then track to gate. At road tum left along ebrtham Lane. THIS IS A QUIET ROAD EXCEPT AT COMMUTER TIMES. Fouow road to end. turn right and almost immediately left down Perrinpit Road. Tum left along a bridleway track, Locks Lane. After right turn. at end turn right then left down bridleway towards Cog Mill. At end tum left on the B4058 (TAKE CARE! BUSY ROAD WITH HEAVY LORRIES). Before long use verge and back to start point.
